Sol Samba Oxford Christmas Light Festival

Following an afternoon of workshops making illuminated crowns and silhouettes, the West Oxford Light Festival will be hosting a BBQ, an aerial display and a bubble bike under illuminated trees. The event ends with a lively lantern procession featuring an illuminated train and carriages led by local musicians and dancers Sol Samba.

Sol Samba is a Brazilian percussion and dance group that wants to inspire people with the beauty and power of authentic Brazilian carnival music and dance.

PLEASE NOTE - Due to flooding in Botley Park, all events will be taking place in the area in front of West Oxford Community Centre.

2.30-4.30pm in the WOCA Main Hall

Face painting (pre-booked), illuminated crown making, decorate the train carriages for the parade!

Outside - BBQ

 

5.00pm-6.00pm

Aerial artists and bubble bike.

 

6.30pm

Lantern Parade around the area led by Sol Samba.
