Volunteering

Be part of one of Oxford’s
biggest annual events and help us make it shine!

Do I need any specific skills / experience?

Anyone can be a volunteer. We're looking for people with varied skills and life experiences – this could be your first time volunteering or you could be an expert!

It is important is that you are over 16, have a friendly, open personality and are curious about working with us. Please share your interests / experiences / skills with us, so we can find the right role for you.

What will I be doing?

There are two types of volunteer roles you could be involved in to make sure that the festival runs smoothly and that it is a memorable cultural experience for everyone.

As a volunteer you are often the first point of contact for festival visitors and artists. You could advise visitors on what there is to see, meet and greet artists, assist with festival evaluation or help to set up the festival.

Volunteer Ambassadors take on additional responsibility by assisting the coordination of other volunteers and act as an important link between them and the event management team.

What commitment do I need to give?
