Over the 3 days of the Christmas light festival (15th - 17th November), the city of Oxford comes alive with light installations, performances and surprises around every corner.
Local performers and bands form an integral part to the programming of the festival, bringing wonderful music, dance and delight to members of the public, whether they are local people out and about or tourists who have come to discover what our wonderful city is all about.
Whether you are a singer/songwriter, band or a community group that wants to celebrate your culture and traditions or have some special performance that you’d like to share with us, we’d love to hear from you.
Each slot is half an hour long and can take place on any of the three days over the festival. Performers can choose do as many days or slots as they are available for. Some of the performance areas have power for a keyboard or a small sound system (to be supplied by the performer themselves) others do have a full tech stage, all are open air, so wrap up warmly.
We’d love to have as many of you join us as possible, we are open to performances with a Christmas or winter feel, but also to groups who just want to share their performances with the public and perhaps also show us some of what their culture is all about.
If you would like to take part, please fill in the form from the link below and we will be in touch.
We hope to be able to program as many of you as is possible, however we do have a lot to fit in over the weekend, so it may not be possible to accommodate everyone. You will receive a conformation email nearer the time when all applications have been received.
If you would like further information before filling in the form please get in touch with the Creative Producer Anya Fox firstname.lastname@example.org
