Illuminated Window Display

Design-a-window-dispaly.jpg

Various areas of Oxford will be lighting up their windows with fabulous art. Windows will be lit up for the evenings of Friday 19th and Saturday 20th November.

Using just tissue paper, black card and some scissors and glue the most amazing creations can be made. What will your window show? You can be as creative as you like with your design, thinking about the theme of connectivity.

This activity requires adult supervision.

Here is artist Emily Cooling sharing her tips on how to make your own stained glass effect.

Register your street on the light trail map here (register button) so that your neighbours can meander through the streets and enjoy your art!  There will be prizes for the best photos of illuminated windows we receive.
